Elemetal has made trading and storing precious metals a simple affair with its new online application process. For those interested in allocated gold and silver trading and storage, only a few minutes are needed to begin working with one of the most trusted companies in the industry.
Here, we’ll show you just how simple it is to open an account and begin trading by walking you through the process of creating a username and password and completing the online verification process.
We will include screenshots of each step. You can track your work with the “Your Progress” chart in the upper left of the “Verify Identity” page.
How to open an account
To get started, create an Elemetal Vault username and password by registering for a free account, which will allow you access to the trading portal.
Below the welcome form, choose a password containing at least 8 characters with a minimum of 1 number and 1 uppercase letter, and select security questions.
Once you have selected a password and security questions, you will receive a welcome email from Elemetal. You will then be directed to a page requiring identity verification.
When you click on the blue DocuSign button you will be asked to provide an electronic signature, a secured, paperless method for obtaining user signatures. Note the progress checklist on the left of the page. The boxes will be checked once the application and documents have been reviewed.
You will have the opportunity to read through the terms and conditions of working with Elemetal Vault and adopt a signature to secure your account.
Use your chosen signature to sign the terms and conditions.
Once you accept the terms and conditions, you will need to upload a picture of a photo ID (driver’s license, passport, or other government issued ID).
Lastly, you will be asked to provide your bank information by uploading a picture of a bank statement or voided check. The picture will need to clearly display the bank name, address, and account number, along with your name and address as listed on your registration form.
When you’ve successfully uploaded your bank verification, and your account has been approved (may take 1-3 business days), your “Verify Identity” page will look like this:
That’s it! The Identity Verification page will disappear and you will receive an email when the account is approved and you’re able to begin trading and storing physical gold and silver.
